EARLINE HOUCHINS has been painting for over 50 years in fine traditional style.  When she was in high school, her mother paid for her to have art lessons, and Earline was quickly recognized as a natural talent by her art instructor.  Her career escalated from there, and she began commissioning art for individuals, businesses, and churches.  She has worked numerous projects in the Indianapolis community and is well known locally for her extraordinary talent.

 

 

 

 

 

 

ANGELA NUTTLE won her first art contest in the fourth grade.  The prize:  A brand new garanimals outfit from JC Penney!  In her 20's, Angela lived in Alabama, painted murals and commissioned art on the side to make ends meet from time to time, but didn't become serious until two years ago.  She found pleasure in painting modern and trendy whimsical pieces, as well as art that told a story.

 

In 2012, Angela returned to Indianapolis to be with Earline, who was diagnosed with Chronic Leukemia.  Together, they decided to "go public" with their art and make Earline's longtime dream come true by opening an online store, www.nuthouchart.com and pursuing art licensure.

 

Both artists live in Greenwood, Indiana.
